The two 'mystery pictures'
show what appears to be a road or path that presumably ran along the
foot of the 'island' and crossed the Hodder (possibly on its way to
Higher Barn?) just before it met Bridge House Beck. I have looked
carefully at various O.S. maps and cannot find any evidence of a
crossing point here. Nearby, there does seem to have been a bridge
(Honeymouth) but that crossed the beck. Have you any ideas what it is?
This could be the first 'mystery' landmark for people on the website to
identify!!! (A. Bingham)
